The Webcomic List

Knowledge is power.

Sorry for the late update! A lot of things going on lately phew!

@SmilingAhab That sounds very interesting, but if you're looking for complicated science like that, you've come to the wrong place. In this world, these two dimensions have been proven to exist while the third is (in theory) needed for the two to be supported. In the comic's world, yes, there are only three dimensions that are connected by portals. If there are any others, they are not part of the loop... yet.

Only 3? Interesting theory. M theory suggests an infinite number of branes in the Standard Bulk Multiverse, Lisi theory suggests either one, eight or 247, I haven't gotten that one quite figured out yet, and an older one I forget the name of showed just two universes shaped like a 5-dimensional saddle connected but extending infinitely in all opposing directions.

I wonder how far lie algebra and quantum mechanics are in their universe?

@ZaraLT: I'm not used to sharing the comment section with just the author, and I'm really not used to the author responding. Usually at this point another lurker comes along and nitpicks about how lie algebra has nothing to do with dimensionality and we get into a fun little tussle. I've posted links to your site at several "suggested reading" threads, I'm surprised no one else comments.
